To provide information on energy storage technology that is relevant to those responsible for ensuring the safety of the public and to serve as a pilot effort to determine if similar events might be warranted in the U.S.

Expected Outcome
Participants will get an overview of energy storage technology, how it works, various applications, safety issues and how they can be mitigated and what actions to take to address safety related incidents.
